Erie, Pa. - The Mercyhurst Women's Lacrosse team is looking to bounce back after a week one loss as they welcome in Georgian Court for a non-conference matchup. The Lakers are looking to get their first win of the season, and the first win of the Lindsay Weaver era at Mercyhurst.

Last Time Out
The Lakers opened their season with a loss to #5 Grand Valley State. The Lakers took a 4-1 lead early in the first quarter, but Grand Valley scored nine unanswered goals to give themselves a large lead at halftime and early into the third quarter. The Lakers would eventually suffer a 17-8 loss. Even in a loss, a few Lakers played very well in the season opener. Whitley Easton posted a four-goal performance, while adding an assist for five points. Gabby McGinn assisted on three Laker goals. Marlee Antinora scored two goals of her own.
