Erie, Pa. - The Mercyhurst Stunt team is back in action this weekend as they host Ashland University for a doubleheader this Saturday, February 24th. Coming off a win against Ursuline College, the Lakers look to carry the momentum into the weekend. This weekend's games are sponsored by Geometric Design & Technology, Inc. 

Scouting Ashland  

Ashland University is currently on a three-game win streak after most recently defeating Tiffin University by a score of 24-1 and Trevecca Nazarene University by a score of 12-11 last Saturday. Ashland is 3-0 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference and 3-2 overall. Coming into the matchup, Ashland ranks 6th among the nation's best, according to the College Stunt national advisory board.  

Laker Outlook 

The Mercyhurst Lakers recently hosted their home opener two weeks ago on February 10th and 11th. Despite falling to Trevecca Nazarene University and Hiram College, they picked up a big win against Ursuline College, defeating them 21-4. The Lakers are currently 3-3 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference and 4-3 overall, most recently being ranked 10th within the College Stunt season polls. Mercyhurst's matchups against the Eagles will begin at 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM on Saturday.

After this weekend's doubleheader, the Lakers will travel to Tiffin, Ohio to play Tiffin University on Saturday, March 2nd at 1 PM.
