Toledo, OH- Mercyhurst Women's Basketball is preparing to face Toledo University on Friday, December 6th at 7:00 PM.

Laker Outlook

The Lakers are coming off an electrifying game against Cornell, taking them to overtime and falling in a heartbreaker by one point. Mercyhurst will use this as motivation as they take on their next test. The Lakers have a 2-5 record and have yet to face a conference opponent. Bailey Kuhns continues to lead the Lakers in points, averaging 19.6 per game. She scored 32 points against Cornell and earned her first double-double of the season. Allyson Ross leads the team in rebounds, averaging 4.9 per game. Jenna Van Schaik leads Mercyhurst in assists, averaging 3.4 per game. The Lakers are ranked 2nd in the current NEC Standings, just below #1 ranked FDU. 

Scouting Toledo

The Rockets have a 4-2 overall record so far this season. This past weekend, they defeated Navy by a score of 58-51 but fell to Maryland by a score of 92-70. Sammi Mikonowicz leads the team in points, averaging 15.2 per game. Hannah Noveroske leads the Rockets in rebounds, averaging 5.5 per game. Kendall Carruthers leads Toledo in assists, averaging 3 per game. The Rockets rank 4th in the current Mid-American Conference Standings.
