Moon Township, PA- Mercyhurst Women's Basketball will compete in two more games before they take a short break. The Lakers will travel to Pittsburgh, PA to take on Robert Morris University on Saturday, December 14th at 2:00 PM. They then have a quick turnaround as they return home on Monday, December 16th to face Mount St. Mary's at 6:00 PM.

Laker Outlook 

The Lakers have a 2-6 record so far this season, as they fell in a close game to the University of Toledo last Friday by a score of 70-66. Despite having a challenging start, Mercyhurst has continued to show growth throughout the season. Junior Bailey Kuhns continues to lead the Lakers in points, averaging 20.3 per game. Senior Allyson Ross leads the team in rebounds, averaging 4.5 per game. Junior Jenna Van Schaik leads Mercyhurst in assists, averaging 3.9 per game. The Lakers rank 3rd in the current NEC Standings. 

Scouting Robert Morris

The Colonials have a 3-6 overall record and are 1-1 in their conference. Most notably, they fell to NEC member Saint Francis University by a score of 58-55. Noa Givon leads the team in points, averaging 10 per game. Mya Murray leads Robert Morris in rebounds, averaging 4.9 per game. Jada Lee leads the Colonials in assists, averaging 2.8 per game. Robert Morris ranks 7th in the current Horizon League Standings. 

Scouting Mount St. Mary's

Mount St. Mary's have a 1-6 overall record and have yet to play a conference opponent. Gabrielle Kennerly leads the team in points, averaging 11.4 per game. Jaedyn Jamison leads Mount St. Mary's in rebounds, averaging 4.7 per game. Giana Hoddinott leads the team in assists, averaging 3 per game.
