Ithaca, NY- Mercyhurst Women's Basketball is ready to take on Cornell University on Wednesday, November 27th at 1:00 PM. 

Laker Outlook 

The Lakers are coming off a thrilling game on Sunday, as they dominated Bryant & Stratton College by a score of 109-43 in a record-breaking game. They scored the highest number of points in Mercyhurst history and earned the largest margin in school history, defeating the Bobcats by 66 points. The Lakers will use this monumental performance as fuel for their next challenge. Junior Bailey Kuhns continues to lead Mercyhurst in points, averaging 17.5 points per game. Senior Allyson Ross leads the team in rebounds, averaging 4.8 per game. Junior Jenna Van Schaik leads the Lakers in assists, averaging 3.5 per game. Mercyhurst has a 2-4 overall record so far this season and has yet to play a conference opponent. The Lakers rank 3rd in the current NEC Standings. 

Scouting Cornell 

Cornell University has an overall record of 2-4 this season and has also yet to play a conference opponent. Their two wins come against Army West Point and Binghamton University. However, they are on a three-game losing streak. Emily Pape leads the team in points and rebounds, averaging 15.1 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. Azareya Kilgoe leads Cornell in assists, averaging 3.0 per game. Cornell ranks 7th in the current Ivy League Conference Standings. They were also ranked 7th in the Ivy League Preseason Poll.
