ERIE, Pa. - The Mercyhurst Women's Hockey team has announced their incoming freshman. 

The team will be welcoming nine student-athletes to the ice from five countries. 
Head Coach Mike Sisti added, "We are excited to welcome this tremendous group of student athletes into our Mercyhurst family. We look forward to working with them daily to help them continue to grow and develop socially, academically, and athletically.  We are looking forward to having this group join the quality people returning to our team next year."

Last season the Lakers made it to the CHA Finals where they forced overtime. The team averaged 3.2 goals per game and took an average of 33 shots per game.
