Danielle Grim recorded a spectacular defensive play, as she stopped the penetration and swatted the ball away.

After a last second buzzer-beater the Fighting Scot finished winning the first, 11-12.

Second Quarter
Edinboro started the second quarter well, as they went on the run and extended their lead to nine points, 15-24.
Julia Buchman ended the scoring drought, as she penetrated inside and finished with an acrobatic layup.

Edinboro held the lead for the rest of the half, and they went into the break with seven-point lead, 23-30.

Third Quarter
The Lakers started the second half with a punch. After a couple good defensive possessions, they minimized the deficit to just one point, as
Julia Buchman drained a long-distance shot, 35-36.

Mercyhurst took the lead just a minute later, as
Grace Centrulla scored on her defender, using a nice hook shot, 39-38.

Fourth Quarter
The Lakers didn't slow down in the fourth, as they kept playing solid defense and sharing the ball well. Centrulla scored a layup with six minutes left in the quarter, extending the lead to five points, 52-47.

The Fighting Scots came back with couple of nice buckets, but Centrulla recorded a strong and-one play, to put the Lakers in the lead again, 58-57.

Edinboro gained the lead again with 30 seconds left in the game, as Morgan Gentile scored in transition, 60-61.
Despite great efforts, the Lakers couldn't score again and fell to Edinboro.

Game Highlights
Jayde Boyd and
Grace Centrulla both registered 18 points and they were followed by
Danielle Grim with 12. Centrulla also added seven rebounds and
Julia Buchman recorded three assists.

Playoff Picture
After dropping the game to Edinboro, the Lakers have 8-7 conference record, and sit at the sixth spot in PSAC West Standings. Mercyhurst has eight more games in the regular season, and every match will be extremely important.
