First Quarter
The Lakers started the match well, as
Grace Centrulla went inside and scored a bucket from the pass by
Paige Woodford, 2-0. Mercyhurst kept pushing the ball and making shots, as they finished the quarter with 17-6 lead.

Second Quarter
The Griffins woke up in the second, as they went on the five-point scoring run.
Jayde Boyd stopped their run, as she knocked down a three-pointer, 22-11.

Couple minutes later,
Lauren Klare came of the bench and immediately impacted the game, as she drained a corner three to extend the Lakers' lead, 35-16.

Third Quarter
The Lakers returned for the second half, with the same energy and determination, but the Griffins managed to minimize the deficit.
Grace Centrulla turned the defense into offense, as she blocked a shot and scored on the other side of the court, 38-27.

Julia Buchman went inside, used a pump-fake to confuse her defender, and scored a layup, 45-38.

Fourth Quarter
Mercyhurst didn't slow down in the fourth, as they kept playing solid defense and forcing their opponents to take contested shots. They eventually won the game by a score of 66-56 and got their 8
th PSAC win of the season.

Game Highlights
Buchman led the charge with 16 points on 6-12 shooting, and she was followed by
Lexi Wagner with 13. Wagner also added 10 rebounds and
Danielle Grim recorded career-high four blocks.

Playoff Picture
The Lakers managed to solidify themselves ahead of the Griffins in the PSAC West Standings. They have eight games left in the regular season, and are working hard to make it into the post-season in an extremely competitive side of conference.
