How It Happened
The beginning of the game was very chaotic, as both teams made plenty of mistakes and possessions often changed. Grace Centrulla scored a nice jumper early to put up the Lakers in 2-0 lead to begin the game.

Despite the early lead, Gannon went on a run and finished the first quarter winning by a score of 17-6. The Lakers answered in the second, as Ava Waid went inside and finished with an acrobatic layup. Mercyhurst finished the first half with a nice three-pointer by Julia Buchman, but despite that Gannon, went into the break with a 17-point lead, 35-18.

The Lady Knights didn't slow down in the second, as they went on a 10-0 run to start the third quarter, extending their lead to 28 points. Danielle Grim scored two nice back-to-back buckets, as she showcased her lethal jumpcshot, but that wasn't enough to cut down the lead.
