TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association has announced Mercyhurst senior Milan Jankovic as the Atlantic Region's Most Improved Senior for the 2021-22 season. The Belgrade, Serbia native finished the year with an 11-11 mark in singles play while notching a 4-1 mark against PSAC opponents. He was primarily playing from the No.3 singles position all season long. He and doubles partner David Akinpetide finished the year with a 10-16 mark at the No.1 doubles spot.

He was chosen as a PSAC 2nd team All-Conference Selection at the end of the season, it was the second time he was selected to an All-Conference team while at Mercyhurst. He helped lead the Lakers to a berth in the NCAA Atlantic Regional Tournament where they were bounced in the first round by West Liberty.
