ERIE, Pa. - The Women's Hockey team took on the Princeton University Tigers today, Dec. 9, 2022.
The Lakers fell after an intense game, 5-6.
How it Happened
First Period
At 7:42, Princeton scored the first goal of the game.
Thea Johansson tied the game up at 19:42.
Second Period
Kylee Mahoney claimed a power-play goal at 4:52 to bring the lead to the Lakers. Johansson and Sara Boucher helped.
Princeton rallied to tie the game at 9:35.
Vanessa Upson found the net at 12:33 to bring the game to 3-2. She was assisted by Liliane Perreault and Chantal Ste-Croix.
Upson capitalized on a power play at 15:28, scoring her second of the night. The puck was passed by Jordan Mortlock and Thea Johansson.
