Mansfield, Pa. - Mercyhurst Men's Cross Country raced in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Saturday morning with the team placing 12th among the 16 teams.

How it Happened

Alec Bidwell was once again the top finisher for the Lakers as he came in with a time of 25:58.6, good enough for 20th. Bidwell began his race in 36th at the first marker, but steadily moved his way up to finish out the day in the lead for Mercyhurst and earn an All-Conference honor. He was followed by Landon Owens who came in 36th with a time of 26:42.3 and also started off slow before hitting his stride down the home stretch. Evan Haemmerle came in third for Mercyhurst with a time of 27:41.4 to place 73rd while Nathan Nelson rounded out the top-100 finishers for the Lakers at 99th.

Ryan Calwey finished with a time of 29:44.6 while Esteban Waldmann was not far behind at 30:54.1. Ethan Harman was net to finish with a time of 31:11.4 and Ethan Chadbourne rounded out the day with a time of 31:20.6
