WORCESTER, Mass. - The Men's Hockey team faced the Holy Cross Crusaders tonight, Nov. 18, 2022.

The Lakers came out victorious with a score of 3-1.
 

How it Happened

First Period

Owen Say stopped seven shots on net and allowed no points in this period. The team won 13 of the 20 faceoffs in the period.

Second Period

At 12:08 left in the period, Holy Cross scored the first goal of the game.

1:20 on the clock, Jake Beaune sunk the puck into the net to tie up the game, 1-1. Jonathan Bendorf and Marko Reifenberger tallied the assists.


 

Third Period

15:37 was off the clock and Joseph Maziarz saw the opening and earned a power play goal for the Lakers. Dalton Hunter picked up the assist.

The Lakers were short-handed, but Garrett Dahm saw the open ice and dumped in an empty netter. The time of the goal was 18:21.
