Box Score Erie, Pa – Mercyhurst Women's Soccer dominates UPJ in their matchup Wednesday at home, winning the game by a score of 6-0 to move to 8-2-4 on the year.

The Lakers learned from their mistakes in last week's games, as they came out on the field determined to score and showcased a very aggressive brand of soccer. Just a couple minutes into the match
Teagan Mehalko received a great pass from
Karah Van Horn but missed closely to the left.
Mercyhurst kept applying pressure, and their efforts paid off in 18

Taryn Baxter put the ball in the net after a pass by Mehalko. The Lakers extended their lead in 39
th minute when
Karah Van Horn beat UPJ's goalkeeper with a strong shot to the left; the goal was assisted by Baxter.

Taryn Baxter scored her second goal of the match, capitalizing on the chaos under UPJ's goal.

Mercyhurst held on to that lead as they finished the game the score of 6-0.
