GREENSBURG, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's soccer team generated 16 shots but couldn't find the back of the net as the Lakers fell 3-0 to host Seton Hill Wednesday afternoon in PSAC West action.
The Lakers had the better of play early, but Seton Hill broke the scoreless tie on a Kai Pritchard goal in the 36th minute.
The Griffins extended their lead 39 seconds into the second half and picked up one more insurance goal in the 58th minute.
Mercyhurst notched seven shots on net and held a 6-4 advantage in corner kicks. Nic Munch led the Lakers with four shots, three on goal.
Jonathan Gomes made four saves and took the loss in net.
The Lakers are back in action on Saturday when they host Pitt-Johnstown at 1:00 p.m. at the Mercyhurst Soccer Field.
