Box Score Seton Hill, Pa.—The Mercyhurst Women's Soccer team saw their point streak come to end on Saturday as they fell to Seton Hill 1-0.
How It Happened
The Lakers dominated play throughout the full 90 minutes. In the first half the Lakers tallied 11 shots with four finding the net. The Seton Hill keeper didn't crack despite all the action.
The Mercyhurst defense core held the Griffins to zero shots and zero corner kick in the first 45.
Seton Hill scored the lone goal of the game just 1:03 into the second half.
Mercyhurst continued to generate all the offense as they tallied 13 shots in the second half with four finding the net.
Despite all the offense the Lakers couldn't get the ball passed the keeper who made eight saves.
By the Numbers
Mercyhurst tallied 24 shots and eight on net in the game. The 24 shots is a season high for the Lakers. Seton Hill had just three shots which was the least amount of shots that the Lakers allowed this season.
