ERIE, Pa. -- Erin Jackson of women's rowing and Josh Surowiec of baseball were named the PPG Paints Athletes of the Week for their performances last weekend.

Jackson was a member of both boats that helped the No. 8 Lakers defeat then No. 6 Jefferson last weekend at Bucknell. The Lakers moved up to the No. 6 spot in the NRCA poll on Wednesday.

Suroweic went 3-10 with two runs scored and his second walk off home run of the season to help the Lakers knock off No. 7 Seton Hill. He is hitting .299 this season while having four home runs along with 12 RBIs. In the field he has just one error on the season while having a .995 fielding percentage.
