ERIE, Pa. – After coming up short in a pair of matches against nationally-ranked Gannon University last Saturday on the home floor. The Mercyhurst women's volleyball team gets back to work tonight on the road as they head to Daemen College for a single match in this abbreviated and unusal 2021 spring season. For the Wildcats it will be their first match of the year.
It will be a homecoming of sorts for the Lakers
Isabella McCaffrey who spent her last two years with the Daemen program, earning East Coast Conference Co-Setter of the Year as a freshman.
The Wildcats bring back 11 players from their 2019 team that went 16-12 and 5-5 in ECC play. Allison Post, Jenn Heritz and Sam Logan key the Blue and White attack, which will be vital for the Lakers to slow down in this matchup.
