The home side used the opening two minutes of the third to continue to chip away at the deficit as Jenissa Encarnacion cut the margin to 38-25. Komendarek kick-started the Lakers offense again with two at the line leading to a 7-0 spurt with Buchman and Centrulla contributing as well making it 45-25.
