Bloomsburg, Pa.—The Mercyhurst Women's Soccer team fell to Bloomsburg in the PSAC Semi-Final on Friday afternoon.
In the first half the Lakers were outshot 6-2 as the two teams went into the half tied at zero.
Bloomsburg took the lead in the 68th minute and then scored once again in the 83rd minute to give the Huskies a two goal lead.
Maddie Elbro made four saves on the six shots that came her way.
Lauren Casey and Emily Mijares each had shots on goal while Dani Hartman had two shots and Safia Paraiso had the other Laker shot.
The Lakers will now play the waiting game as the NCAA Selection Show is Monday at 6 PM on NCAA.com.
Mercyhurst has been ranked in each of the regional rankings that have been released, Mercyhurst was ranked eighth on Wednesday.
