Erie, Pa.—The Mercyhurst Men's Soccer team fell 2-0 against Millersville at Saxon Stadium on Saturday.
The first half was back and forth play which consisted on Millersville tallying six shots and the Lakers recorded five shots. The Marauders scored the opening goal in the 41st.
In the first 45 minutes Jonathan Gomes made two saves while Dylan Sumner, Sidney Warden and Nic Münch tallied shots on goal.
The second half was very similar to the first half as Mercyhurst generated five shots compared to six for Millersville.
In the 86th minute, Millersville put the game on ice as they scored their second goal of the match.
Gomes made four saves while Sean Kerrigan, Sumner, Warden, and Münch each recorded two shots.
The Lakers will now await the selection show on Monday at 6:30 PM on NCAA.com. Mercyhurst was ranked 11th in the last Super Regional Rankings that were released on Wednesday.
