Edinboro, Pa.—The Mercyhurst Women's Soccer team earned a huge three points to extend their winning streak to four.

Lauren Casey kept her hot streak as she gave the Lakers the early lead as Emily Mijares picked up her second assist of the season.

Edinboro tied the game with under 10 minutes remaining in regulation.

After neither team scored in the first overtime period the two teams went into double overtime.

Amber Thomas played the role of hero as she scored her third goal of the season with just under five minutes remaining in the second overtime period.

The Lakers move to 7-3-1 and 6-2-1 in the PSAC West.

PSAC West play continues next Saturday as the Lakers host cross town rival Gannon.
