The Mercyhurst women's ice hockey team will travel to the Rochester Institute of Technology on Jan. 24-25 for a two-game College Hockey America Matchup. Puck drops at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
 
Last Time Out
Mercyhurst welcomed Penn State to the Mercyhurst Ice Center and tied 1-1 both days.
 
Michele Robillard and Emily Pinto scored the two Laker goals while Emma Nuutinen, Summer-Rae Dobson and Maggie Knott had assists. Kennedy Blair made 30 saves in net of Friday and Jenna Silvonen made 24 saves on Saturday.
 
Previous Matchup
Mercyhurst hosted RIT at the MIC earlier this season and came away with 4-2 and 6-0 wins.
 
Alexandria Weiss, Megan Korzack, Alexa Vasko, Sam Isbell, Liliane Perreault, K.K. Thiessen, Alexane Rheaume, Knott, Pinto, Dobson and Nuutinen had points for Mercyhurst.
 
Blair made 41 saves on the weekend in net.

Scouting the Tigers
RIT is coming into the weekend with a 9-13-2, 2-8-0 CHA record. The Tigers are coming off being swept by Lindenwood. They lost 3-0 and 2-0 last weekend.
 
Davies is on top of the roster with 10 assists and 17 points. Jaymee Nolan is leading with nine goals and has 13 points. Logan Land and Marchese are next with 11 points each.
 
Lanteigne has a  6-9-2 record with a 2.38 goals against average and .930 save percentage. O'Leary has a 3-4-0 record with a 3.28 GAA and .913 save percentage. Taylor Liotta has played in one game making one save.
 
Laker Outlook
Mercyhurst is coming into the weekend series with a 12-8-4, 6-2-2 CHA record.
 
Nuutinen is on top of the roster with 13 goals and 26 points. Isbell is leading with 20 assists and has 24 points. Dobson has 22 points and Vasko has 19 points.
 
In net, Blair has a 11-6-3 record with a 2.28 GAA and .914 save percentage. Silvonen has a 1-2-1 record with a 1.83 GAA and .918 save percentage. Leah Klassen has played in one game making eight saves.

Isbell is tied for 14th in the nation with 0.83 assists per game.
 
Nuutinen is tied for 20th in the nation with 0.59 goals per game. She is ranked 26th in the nation with 1.00 points per game.
