Scouting the Lakers:

Mercyhurst is coming off a rough weekend that saw them suffer defeats to the defending national champion Shippensburg University, as well as square off with top-ranked Millersville University.    In the two games Hayley Skidmore was the only player to record a shot in both games, while five other Lakers posted shots with none of them finding the back of the cage.  Goalie Libby Jones was busy having to record 16 saves between the two contests.  Alexis Skibitsky and Clare Ahern remain the only Mercyhurst players that have posted goals on the season, with Leah Rogers and Skidmore accounting for the two assists.

Scouting the Crimson Hawks:
Indiana (Pa.) comes into the game with a 4-2 record, and have dropped out of the Top 10 after losing their last two games to second-ranked West Chester and Newberry.  The Crimson Hawks have scored nine goals on the season and average 1.50 per game, while posting 12.2 shots per contest with .589 shots on goal percentage.  Blaise Cugini, Brianna Lubarsky, and Georgiana Chiavacci all have multiple goals on the season, with Cugini pacing the side with three.  She also leads the team in shots (16), shots on goal (11), and points (8).  Lexi Ciano has made all six starts for the Crimson Hawks in net posting a 4-1 record on a .688 save percentage making 11 stops.

Through the Looking Glass:
The Lakers stay home for game two of this three-game homestand by welcoming in top-ranked Millersville University for the PSAC opener on Friday night at Saxon Stadium beginning at 6pm.
