ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst women's basketball team fell to Edinboro, 76-54, in PSAC action on Saturday at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. The contest was the Lakers' final game of the 2018-19 season.

Eliza Oswalt led Mercyhurst (10-18, 7-14) with 16 points and six rebounds.

Edinboro had four scorers in double-figures -- led by Michaela Barnes, who had 26 points.

The visiting Fighting Scots (20-7, 15-6) went on a 15-2 run across the second and third quarters to break a 27-27 tie. That left EU with a 42-29 advantage.

MU answered with a 13-6 stretch -- led by eight points from Oswalt -- before the Scots pushed the margin back into double-figures for good.

Edinboro held a 33-31 edge in rebounds and shot 32 of 56 from the field (57.1 percent) while MU struggled from the field, going 20 of 59 (33.9).
