Alexa Vasko scored twice as the Mercyhurst women's ice hockey team downed Robert Morris 5-2 during College Hockey America action on Friday.

Sarah Hine recorded the other Laker goals.
Rachel Marmen picked up three assists,
Summer-Rae Dobson had two assists and single assists were credited to
Emma Nuutinen,
Molly Blasen and Hine had assists for Mercyhurst (13-12-5, 10-5-2).
Maggie Lague and Natalie Marcuzzi scored for Robert Morris (12-13-6, 10-4-3).
Early in the first period, Vasko scored her first goal of the game to give Mercyhurst an early 1-0 lead. Marmen and Nuutinen tallied assists.
One minute and thirty-two seconds in the second period, Robillard scored with a feed from Dobson to give the Lakers a 2-0 lead. Marmen also had an assist.
Robert Morris capitalized on the power play with a goal from Lague to make it 2-1, before Marcuzzi scored to tie the game at 2-2.
With less than two minutes remaining in the second period, Mercyhurst converted on a 5-on-3 with a goal from Tanskanen. Hine and Blasen picked up assists.
Four minutes into the third period, Hine scored to extend the Lakers lead to 4-2. Dobson picked up the lone assist.
With less than four minutes left in the third period, Vasko scored her second goal of the game to end it 5-2 Lakers. Marmen tallied the lone helper.
The Lakers went 1-for-3 on the power play while the Colonials finished 1-for-5.
Kennedy Blair made 26 saves in net for Mercyhurst while Lauren Bailey stopped 17 shots for Robert Morris.
With the win, Mercyhurst is just one-point out of first place. Robert Morris holds the spot, as tomorrow's game will decide who holds first place going into the last weekend of the regular season.
Both teams are back in action Saturday at 3:05 p.m.
