The Mercyhurst women's ice hockey team is set to host non-conference opponent St. Cloud at the Mercyhurst Ice Center on Dec. 13-14. Puck drops at 6:05 p.m. on Friday and 2:05 p.m. on Saturday.
This will be the last weekend series for the Lakers before the holiday break.

The Lakers will be holding a Santa Skate, where fans can join the Lakers on the ice after the game on Saturday. There will be hot chocolate and pizza duing the post-game skate.

Last Time Out
Mercyhurst travel to Robert Morris for a two-game College Hockey America weekend matchup. The Lakers won 5-2 on Friday before falling 3-1 the next night.
On Friday,
Sarah Nelles tied the game at 1-1 before
Emma Nuutinen,
Maggie Knott and
Emily Pinto scored to give Mercyhurst a 4-1 lead. RMU came back with one goal but Robillard scored the empty net goal to give Mercyhurst a 5-2 win. Robillard also tallied one assist.
Sam Isbell picked up two assists while single assists were earned by
Summer-Rae Dobson,
K.K. Thiessen and
Alexandria Weiss.
Blair made 34 saves in net to earn her ninth win of the season.
On Saturday, Dobson scored the lone goal for the Lakers. Nuutinen and Isbell had assists. Blair made 29 saves in net.
Previous Matchup
Mercyhurst and St. Cloud last met during the 2010-11 season. The Lakers and Huskies met three times with the Lakers winning all three games.
Mercyhurst out-scored St. Cloud 23-3 in the three contests.

St. Cloud is coming into the weekend series with a 4-12-1 record. The Huskies are coming off of being swept at Bemidji State last weekend.
Klara Hymlarova is on top of the roster with 11 points. Jenniina Nylund is next with 10 points. Hallie Theodosopoulos is leading with six goals and has 9 nine points. Laura Kluge is leading with eight assists and also has nine points.
In net, Emma Polusny has a 3-10-1 record with a 3.15 goals against average and .907 save percentage. Janine Alder has a 1-2-0 record with a 3.15 GAA and .930 save percentage.
Hymlarova is ranked 21st in the nation with 0.65 points per game as a freshman.
The Huskies power play is 17th in the nation and their penalty kill is ranked 20th. Their combined special teams is 13th at 53.2 percent.

Isbell is ranked eighth with 1.06 assists per game and is tied for 23rd with 1.31 points per game.

Euro Hockey Tour
Nuutinen and Silvonen were named to the Finish National Team for the 2019-20 Euro Hockey Tour. They will play with Team Finland on Dec. 12-15 in Germany.
Special Teams
The Lakers are ranked seventh on the penalty kill going 91.0 percent. They are ranked eighth on the power play with 21.7 percent. The combined special teams is ranked fourth in the nation at 57.6 percent.
