The Mercyhurst women's ice hockey team is back in action as it travels to No. 5 Clarkson on Nov. 15-16. Puck drops at 2 p.m. both days.
Last Time Out
Mercyhurst welcomed College Hockey America opponent Lindenwood to the Mercyhurst Ice Center on Nov. 1-2 and came out with a weekend sweep. The Lakers shutout the Lions 3-0 on Friday before winning 7-2 the next day.

Previous Matchup
Mercyhurst and Clarkson last met during the 2017-18 NCAA National Championship Tournament where the Lakers fell 2-1 in overtime during the quarterfinals game.
Blair made 30 saves during the game while Nuutinen had an assist.
For Clarkson, Michaela Pejzlova recorded one goal and one assist while Elizabeth Giguere scored the other goal.

Mercyhurst leads the all-time series 8-6-4 against Clarkson. The Golden Knights have won the last two contests.
Scouting the Golden Knights
Clarkson is coming into the weekend with a 8-1-3, 3-0-1 record. The Golden Knights are ranked fifth in the nation and are riding an eight-game unbeaten streak. They are coming off of a 1-1 tie with Cornell.
Giguere is on top of the roster with 11 goals and 21 points. Gabrielle David is leading with 13 assists and has 19 points. Pejzlova is next with 16 points and Ella Shelton has 10 points.
In net, Marie-Pier Coulombe has played in nine games with a 6-1-2 record, 1.34 goals against average and .936 save percentage. She has two shutouts on the season. Amanda Zeglen has played in five games with a 2-0-1 record, 2.97 GAA and .868 save percentage.

Mercyhurst is coming into the weekend series with a 7-2-1, 4-0-0 record. The Lakers are riding a three-game winning streak.
Nuutinen is leading the Lakers with nine goals and 17 points. Isbell is leading with 11 assists and has 15 points. Vasko has 12 points and Dobson has 10 points.
