Seton Hill visits Erie losers of their last two games and have a 1-6 record.Ā The Griffins are 0-2 in PSAC action as their only victory has come on the road against Frostburg State in overtime.Ā In the back Elizabeth Armbruster and Emma Jorgensen have each spent time in the cage with Armbruster leading the way with five starts and 41 saves.Ā Jorgensen has chipped in 32 stops.Ā Ā Ā Offensively, Wynnsome GadsonĀ leads the Griffins attack with six points thanks to two goals and a pair of assists.Ā Nicole Susi and Kaylie MelnickĀ also have hit the scoresheet with each picking up a goal.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā
Series History:
Overall the series is tied between the two schools at 3-3.Ā Mercyhurst won the last meeting on September 11, 2019 by a score of 2-1 in overtime at Seton HIll.Ā In that game the Lakers jumped out 1-0 in the first thanks to Skibitsky.Ā Then, in the fourth Gadson knotted the score for the home side.Ā Mercyhurst would get the winner 2:05 into the extra session as Skidmore found Skibitsky who roofed a shot over Jorgensen in cage for the win.Ā The Lakers dominated the game outshooting the Griffins 22-5 (17-3 on goal) and had a 12-5 advantage in penalty corners.
