Box Score SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Mercyhurst women's soccer team lost 2-1 to Slippery Rock during Pennsylvania State Athletics Conference on Wednesday.
 
Rachel Edge got the Rock on the board first during the 37th minute before Tyler Spence made it 2-0 during the 40th minute.
 
Alyssa Otto scored the lone goal for the Lakers during the 58th minute to make it 2-1. Lauren Casey had an assist.
 
Vilde Wold made eight saves in net for Mercyhurst.
 
Emma Yoder made four saves in net for Slippery Rock.
 
The Rock held a 5-2 edge in corner kicks and a 15-8 advantage in shots on goal.
 
The Lakers are back in action on Oct. 26 when they host Pittsburgh Johnstown for Senior Day on Saxon Stadium at 3:30 p.m.
