- The Mercyhurst women's basketball team dropped a 74-57 decision to No. 1 Indiana (Pa.) in PSAC action on Wednesday at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. The loss snapped the Lakers' five-game winning streak. Jenna Kunst was the Lakers' leading scorer with 13 points while Eliza Oswalt chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds.
- The Lakers have three players averaging double-digits in each game. Nicolete Newman leads the team with 12.1 per game followed by Amber Renz (10.6) and Emily Shopene (10.1).
- Shopene is ranked fourth in the conference averaging 4.4 assists per game. Newman is also listed fourth in the PSAC in steals per game (2.6).
