BLOOMSBURG, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst women's tennis team fell to 38th-ranked Indiana (Pa.), 5-0, in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Tournament final on Saturday at Bloomsburg.

The Crimson Hawks jumped ahead with all three doubles points and then locked up the conference title with two wins in singles play.

IUP's Jarka Petercakova and Luise von Agris defeated Saioa Gomez de Segura and Adina Spahalic in the No. 1 singles match, 8-3, while Katya Minchenkova and Nicole Beidacki took an 8-6 decision against Adrianna Jeffress and Kayla Frost at second doubles.

In the third doubles match, Indiana's Julia Newman and Mariana Valenzuela were 8-2 winners against Ivona Plecevic and Athina Tsagkaraki.

Singles points were recorded by von Agris and Beidacki. von Agris won against Frost, 6-4, 7-6, at No. 2 singles and Beidacki was a 6-3, 6-4 winner over Plecevic at No. 4.
