The Mercyhurst women's basketball team will host Slippery Rock in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action. The Lakers are coming off of a loss to Shippensburg on Saturday (78-85) while Slippery Rock is on a five game losing streak picking up their last victory over Pittsburgh Johnstown on January 17^th.
 
The last time the two teams met Slippery Rock edged the Lakers out 60-57. Mercyhurst still leads the all-time series between the two programs 17-15. In the programs last contest, the Lakers were led by Maria Lapertosa who posted 25 points, eight rebounds and four steals. Brooke Hinderliter was the top scorer for Slippery Rock with 14 points.
 
Slippery Rock sits one place ahead of Mercyhurst in the PSAC West, sitting in sixth place, while the Lakers rest in seventh. 

Lapertosa claimed the top scoring position for Mercyhurst with 13.1 points per game, followed closing by Amber Renz who adds 13.0 points per game. Emilee Norris posts 6.8 points per game to round out the top three, Norris leads rebounds per game with 7.0 and blocks with 36 on the season.
 
Ciara Patterson heads the points per game for The Rock, with 15.8 points per game. Hinderliter adds 14.0 points per game. Hinderliter leads rebounds and assists with 6.9 rebounds per game and 65 assists. Madison Johnson sits just outside double digits with 9.7 points per game.
