- The Lakers are coming off a strong win over Wheeling Jesuit by a score of 89-64. Five different Lakers were in double digits including, Lakers leading scorer Nicolete Newman (20). Followed by, Eliza Oswalt (17), Rachel Chessar (14), Emily Shopene (11) and Amber Renz (10).
- Against Wheeling Jesuit, the Lakers jumped out to an early 12-4 lead and never looked back after a Newman 3-pointer topping off the 8-0 run. Mercyhurst closed the first quarter and started the second quarter on an 18-0. Oswalt led that stretch with eight points. Throughout the game the Lakers were able to increase the lead to as many as 39 points.
- Kutztown leads the all-time series against the Lakers 5-3. Mercyhurst at home is 2-1 against the Golden Bears and will look to make it three on Tuesday.
