- The Lakers are coming off a loss to Bloomsburg at home 70-51. Maria Lapertosa led the way for Mercyhurst with 12 points with Megan Komendarek putting up 11 with also five boards. Nicolete Newman was one of the Lakers leading scorers on the year but wasn't able to get on board going 0-12 from the field.
- Against Bloomsburg, BU scored the game's first four points en route to an early 15-4 lead. The Huskies had a 33-24 advantage at halftime and led by as many as 29 in the second half. Emma Saxton and Alyssa Mack led the Huskies with 18 points each.
- The Lakers lead the all-time series against Wheeling Jesuit 5-3, with a home record of 2-1.
