ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst women's basketball team will open its 2018-19 season at the PSAC/MEC crossover with non-conference games against Charleston and West Liberty. That will begin a stretch of three straight games away from Erie before the Lakers open their home schedule with a visit from Walsh on Saturday, Nov. 17.

• The Lakers are coming off a season in which they finished with a 10-18 overall record and 8-14 mark in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
• Mercyhurst went 0-2 at the PSAC/MEC Challenge last season. Two years ago, the Lakers hosted at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center and won both contests.
