- The Lakers are coming off of a tough loss in overtime against Ursuline 76-73. Emily Shopene had a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds while Maria Lapertosa and Nicolete Newman tallied 17 and 14 points.
- Against Ursuline, the Lakers trailed by as many as 12 points in the 4th quarter before they rallied back on a 18-6 run to tie the game at 63 all. Then, down the final stretch in overtime, Ursuline was able to hit the game winning three with six seconds left in the contest to give them their first win of the season.
- Mercyhurst leads the series against East Stroudsburg 5-3, the Lakers record at home against the Warriors is 5-1 and will look to capture their first win at East Stroudsburg this Saturday.
