Erie, Pa—The Mercyhurst women's basketball team will host non-conference opponent Walsh on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. This will be the first women's home game of the season.

- The Lakers are coming off a 74-67 loss to Daemen on the road. Nicolete Newman is coming off of a 25 point game which was followed by Eliza Oswalt's ten and Maria Lapertosa's eight.
- Against Daemen, going into the 4th quarter, Mercyhurst was 22-40 (55%). In the final quarter the Lakers struggled from the field going 2-20 (10%) which allowed Daemen to get the win along with their 11-0 run in the second half as well. Daemen overall went 29-71 (41%) from the field.
- Mercyhurst trails in the all-time series against Walsh (1-0). The Cavaliers won the game in November of 2017 by a score of 74-50.
