ERIE, Pa. – The Mercyhurst women's soccer team fell 2-0 to Indiana (Pa.) during Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Wednesday at the Mercyhurst Soccer Field.
Vilde Wold made five saves in net for Mercyhurst (7-9-1, 5-9-1 PSAC).
Mahgogany Willis scored both of the Crimson Hawks goals while Nikki Bowman picked up an assist.
Willis scored in the 72nd minute with an assist from Bowman before scoring her second goal of the game during the 83rd minute to give IUP a 2-0 win.
Madeline Smakulski was perfect in net making ten saves for IUP (9-7-1, 7-7-1 PSAC).
Mercyhurst held a 18-13 shot advantage while IUP had a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.
The Lakers are back in action on Oct. 27 when they travel to Mansfield for a 10 a.m. game.
