Box Score SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Mercyhurst women's soccer team was blanked 2-0 by Slippery Rock during Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Wednesday.
 
Brooke Testa put Slippery Rock on the board during the 42nd minute with an assist from Jordyn Minda.
 
Sofia Harrison extended the lead when she tallied a goal in the 74th minute. Skye Kramer had an assist.
 
Vilde Wold made ten saves in net for Mercyhurst while Kylie Downs made one save for Slippery Rock.
 
Slippery Rock outshot Mercyhurst 20-4 and held a 8-0 edge in corner kicks.
 
The Lakers are back in action on Oct. 20 when they host Shippensburg at 3:30 p.m.
