The Mercyhurst women's basketball team will host Seton Hill on Wednesday in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action, in the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. The Lakers are coming off of a 79-62 victory over Clarion on Monday. Seton Hill (11-4, 4-1 PSAC) is on a two game win streak after an 83-73 victory over Clarion and a 79-78 win over Gannon.
 
The all-time series is tied with each program holding five victories each. Seton hill ranks fourth in the PSAC West thee places ahead of seventh place Mercyhurst. The Lakers split the series with Seton Hill during the 2016-17 season.
 
Mercyhurst (6-8, 4-4 PSAC) is led by Amber Renz who adds 16.3 points per game, she also contributes 4.8 rebounds per game. Maria Lapertosa also averages double-digits adding 13.6 points per game, she also adds 5.4 rebounds per game. Emilee Norris rounds out the top three offensive players with 6.4 points per game, she leads rebounds with 6.4 per game and blocks with 26 on the season. Emily Shopene leads assists with 34 on the season and shares the lead in steals with Lapertosa each having 13 on the season.
 
Seton Hill has three players that average in double-digits led by Jenna Kauffman who scores 18.1 points per game, she also tops rebounds grabbing 7.3 per game. Cheyenne Trest averages 14.9 points per game, and tops assists with 53 on the season. Alexandra Hay adds 13.4 points per game.
