The Mercyhurst women's basketball team will travel tomorrow to Indiana (Pa.) to square off against No. 3 IUP in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action. Mercyhurst (5-7, 3-3 PSAC) are in a one game rut after dropping a heartbreaking 60-57 game to Slippery Rock on Wednesday. IUP (11-0, 6-0 PSAC) is coming off of a 72-53 victory over Pitt- Johnstown to claim their 11
th straight victory.

IUP leads the all-time series between the two teams holding a 23-5 advantage, and has won all three contests between the two teams in the 2016-17 season.

Mercyhurst brings two double digit scorers to the court led by
Amber Renz who contributes 16.3 points per game, and
Maria Lapertosa who adds 14.7 points per game. Renz is second on the team for, three pointer percentage (.46), and free throw percentage (.89). Lapertosa leads the team in steals with 12 on the season, and ranks second on rebounds per game with 6.08.

Emilee Norris rounds out the top three offensive players with 5.8 points per game, she leads the team in rebounds per game with 6.17 and blocks with 22.

The Crimson Hawks have three players who average in the double digits led by Megan Smith (17.9), Carolyn Appleby (13.8) and Brittany Robinson (10.8). Lauren Wolosik falls just beneath this threshold with 9.9 points per game and leads assists for IUP with 58 on the season. Robinson leads rebounds with 7.5 per game.
