ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's basketball team will visit Clarion on Wednesday for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference contest in the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The Lakers are coming off a 67-65 loss to Indiana (Pa.) on Saturday. Clarion lost that same day to Seton Hill, 77-69. Mercyhurst has won 2 of 3 games while the Golden Eagles have lost 10 consecutive contests.
The Lakers (9-9, 6-8) are led by
Lorenzo Collier and
Malcolm Walters, who are averaging 16.1 and 13.7 points per game, respectively.
Patrick Smith has had six double-doubles in 2017-18 and averages 8.6 rebounds and 8.7 points.
Derrick Ellis Jr. leads MU in assists with 3.2 per game.
The Lakers have won nine of their last 10 games against Clarion, including a 91-62 victory at home on Jan. 8.
