The Mercyhurst field hockey team will travel to Greensburg, Pa. tomorrow to compete against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference opponent Seton Hill. The Lakers (1-1) are coming off of a one game losing streak after a 6-1 contest against Millersville. Seton Hill (1-3) has lost their past two contests to PSAC competitors West Chester by a score of 0-7, and Indiana (Pa.) by a score of 0-6.
Mercyhurst has scored three goals this season each coming off the stick of a different player.
Clare Ahern,
Leah Rogers, and
Hayley Skidmore have all found net for the Lakers. Ahern, Rogers, and
Taylor Balser all boast an assist as well. Seton Hill has scored a total of four goals on the season each scored by a different player.
Victoria Triaga has started for the Lakers in the last two contests her record is 1-1, she has posted eight saves, and allowed seven goals in that time.
Seton Hill took both games played between the two teams in the 2016 season winning each contest by a single goal, nabbing game one 1-0 and taking game two 3-2.
