ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst women's basketball team will host Seton Hill in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference play on Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m. in the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. Click HERE to watch the game live.

Mercyhurst (19-5, 14-4) are winners of three straight and have clinched a spot in the PSAC tournament. The Lakers are tied for third in the PSAC West Division with Edinboro. Seton Hill (14-11, 10-9) holds at sixth place, holding a two-game lead over Gannon for the final tournament berth in the PSAC West.

Mercyhurst defeated Seton Hill, 73-59, on Jan. 11 as Angela Heintz finished with a triple-double worth 14 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Leading scorer Natalie Piaggesi added 20 points, eight rebounds and four blocks.

Also for Mercyhurst, Alex Artise totaled 14 points and three steals while Jalin Steel contributed 10 points. 

Jenna Kaufman led Seton Hill with 13 points and Maggie McLoughlin added 10. Chrisanna Green grabbed eight rebounds.

Piaggesi leads Mercyhurst in several categories including points per game (16.0), rebounds (6.9), field-goal percentage (.579), blocks (1.9) and free-throw percentage (.816). She rates second in the PSAC in field-goal percentage and blocks, seventh in scoring and eighth in free-throw percentage.

Heintz leads Mercyhurst in assists (6.4) and steals (1.7). She averages 15.5 points and 6.7 rebounds. She ranks second in the PSAC in assists and ninth in scoring.

Kaufman is SHU's leading scorer with 15.6 points per game. She ranks eighth in the conference in scoring and 10th in field-goal percentage (.443). Green is the second-rated rebounder in the PSAC with 9.8 boards per contest.

Mercyhurst leads the all-time series between the programs, 5-4, and has won the last three contests.
