The Mercyhurst women's basketball team will compete in non-conference action against Wheeling Jesuit on Monday. The Lakers are coming off a 72-53 loss to Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference opponent West Chester. Wheeling Jesuit (4-7) dropped their last game 79-77 to Gannon.
 
Mercyhurst leads the all-time series between the two programs 4-3, including a 70-66 victory over Wheeling Jesuit in the 2009-10 season when they last met.
 
Amber Renz leads Mercyhurst in points per game (19.0), and three point percentage (.517). Maria Lapertosa contributes 13.8 points per game. Emilee Norris leads blocks with 17 on the season she also leads rebounds with 6.2 per game. Emily Shopene leads assists and steals with 33 and nine respectively.
 
Wheeling Jesuit has three players averaging double-digits led by Monica Burns (16.4), Mariah Callen (14.9) and Chenelle Moore (13.9). Moore leads rebounds with 10.8 per game while Callen leads assists with 47 on the season.
