The Mercyhurt women's basketball team will host Daemen College on Monday at 5:30 pm in non-conference action in the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. The Lakers last competed on Monday when they fell to non-conference opponent Walsh 74-50. Daemen (2-5) is on a five game losing streak claiming its last victory over Nyack College (67-48) on November 11
th.

Daemen leads the all-time series between the two programs 5-4. Mercyhurst has claimed all four of their victories on the road. Mercyhurst defeated Daemen 89-75 the last time the programs met in the 2005-06 season.

Amber Renz leads the Lakers in multiple categories including points per game (19.3), rebounds (6.7), and three point percentage (.579). Renz ranks second in field goal percentage (.609), and free throw percentage (.900).

Maria Lapertosa contributes 15.7 points per game and 5.8 rebounds per game.
Stephanie Petery adds 6.5 points per game and 2.5 rebounds.
Emily Shopene leads assists with 17, while
Emilee Norris leads blocks with nine.

Sarah Saba leads Daemon with 16.1 points per games and 5.7 rebounds per game, blocks with six and 11 steals on the season. Jordan Heinold is the only other Wild cat to break into double digits with 10.1 points per game.
