The Mercyhurst women's basketball team will host Ursuline in non-conference action on Wednesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 2pm in the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.
 
The Lakers come to this contest after claiming a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference victories over Cheyney (87-53) and Millersville (65-61). Ursuline (2-2) is on a two game win streak with victories over West Liberty (105-85) and Saginaw Valley State (80-71). The Lakers lead the all-time series between the two teams 2-1.
 
The Lakers are led by Amber Renz who tops several categories including points per game (21.3), rebounds per game (7.5), field-goal percentage (.682), three-pointer percentage (.682), and free-throw percentage (100).
 
Maria Lapertosa has contributed 15.8 points per game, and six rebounds per game, she leads assists with 14 on the season. Stephanie Petery rounds out the top three offensive players for Mercyhurst with 7.3 points per game.
 
Camryn Hill lead Ursuline with 21.3 points per game she also contributes nine rebounds per game. Laney Lewis lead the Arrows in rebounds and assists grabbing 14.3 rebounds per game and has 32 assists on the season. Lewis also adds 19.5 points per game. Camille Gist produces 18.8 points per game.
 
The Lakers defeated Ursuline 73-63 in the 2016-17 season.
