Men's Cross Country Falls In MU/GU Dual

FAIRVIEW, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's cross country team fell to cross-town rival Gannon, 15-50, at the Mercyhurst/Gannon Invitational on Saturday.

Daniel Dmuchowski was the top runner for Mercyhurst, placing 10th in 30:10. He was followed by Ryan Brennen, who was 12th in 30:35.

Rounding out the top five for the Lakers were Maxx Palisin in 13th (30:56), Jacob Kramer in 14th (31:14) and John Harry in 17th (32:11).

In the 24-runner field, Dylan Bemiss was 19th in 33:12 and Jacob Furhman took 20th in 33:31.

Gannon's Grant Folgate was the top finisher in 28:13.

The Laker men will compete next at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships at California (Pa.) on Oct. 21.
