ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's basketball team will host Slippery Rock for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference matchup on 7:30 p.m. in the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.

The Lakers finished with 2016 portion of their schedule with a 5-5 overall record and 3-3 slate in the PSAC.

Mercyhurst's leading scorer is Durrell McDonald, who is averaging 15.7 points per game. DaJuan Dent (10.0) is also averaging double-figures. Dent is the Lakers' leading rebounder with 4.9 per game.

The Rock (8-4, 4-2) are led by Naquil Jones, who has scored 13.5 points per game.

The all-time series between the two programs is tied 23-23, although the Rock have won the last three meetings including two in 2015-16.
